4. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

A customer relationship between the individual and Freshlapland Oy / Naturestay is established when a person makes a reservation for accommodation or other services.

Processing is based on the general requirements of the Finnish Personal Data Act, including customer data retention. The data is used exclusively for operational purposes, such as customer identification, service provision, customer communication, and reporting. The data also supports customer relationship management, maintenance, newsletters, and announcements.

The register includes the following information:

• Business customers: Business ID
• Booking details (past and future reservations)
• Customer feedback and complaints
• Payment and billing details
• Information for service delivery and development (e.g., surveys)
• Fulfilling contractual obligations and commitments
• Customer relationship management

Without this necessary personal data, we cannot provide our services. Data is retained until there is a justified reason for deletion, following legal guidelines.
