Aavatupa cabin in Suomutunturi

In the middle of the forest, next to a ravine, is a peaceful and atmospheric 66 m² log cabin located within a yard shared by three houses.

The cabin features two bedrooms and a loft. A fully equipped kitchen. The loft has two single beds (2x 90 cm). The small downstairs bedroom has a pull-out sofa bed (160 cm), and the larger bedroom has a double bed (180 cm). There is a bathroom and a sauna, as well as a separate toilet. The fireplace provides cozy warmth to the cabin. There are both front and back terraces. The ski tracks are 50 meters away, and the ski resort is about 2 km away. The cabin has been improved and renovated, with all new beds and a completely updated interior.

The terrain is easy to navigate with sandy soil, and from behind the house, you can easily access forest roads, walking trails, and reindeer tracks. You can leave from the cabin’s yard and snowshoe to the ravine behind the house. There is a reindeer trail that leads to the salt lick rock at the top of the hill behind the cabin, so reindeer may wander through the forest behind the house. If you want to feed the birds, there is a bird feeder in the backyard (you can place seeds on the feeder). A variety of birds visit the feeder, including the Siberian jay (you can feed them fish and they will come to eat), great tits, willow tits, crested tits, woodpeckers, bullfinches, and more.

This is also an excellent place for remote work, as the cabin has a separate work desk.
